Angel Cake Delight

Savor summer with every bite in this light, fruity Angel Cake Delight - a refreshing blend of angel food cake, melted strawberries, and sugar-free Jello, topped with whipped cream!

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Sugar Free Jello
  • 16 ounces Frozen Strawberries
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip (sugar free will work)
  • 1 loaf Angel Food Cake

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil (this is half of the amount normally used for Jello.) Add Jello and stir until dissolved.
  2. Stir in frozen strawberries and allow to set until strawberries are melted enough you can easily cut them into pieces. Jello and strawberries will thicken.
  3. Allow to cool some, then stir in Cool Whip.
  4. Break angel food cake into bite sized pieces and spread on the bottom of a 9 x 12 cake pan.
  5. Pour Jello mixture over cake making sure all cake is well covered.
  6. Cool in refrigerator until set.
